It is a privilege to serve North Acres Baptist Church as your Transitional (Interim) Pastor. You have made both Cindy and me feel very welcome here. We look forward to continuing to get to know you and work together with you in the days ahead for the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I ask that you pray for me, Max, Shane, the Deacons, and the Pastor Search Committee during this time of transition. Ask the Lord to give us wisdom and guidance in every area of our ministries and tasks.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14 NKJV).

Easter was a wonderful day. To worship at sunrise was a moving experience and to fellowship with folks around the breakfast table was delightful. Sunday School and Worship were a blessing. The Easter Eggstravaganza was full of children hunting for eggs!

We are still receiving the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. Please pray and give to North American Missions.

Saturday Visitation begins April 5 with a lunch and planning time at 12 noon. The following Saturday's will be at 2:00 p.m. Will you come help us visit?

VBS is coming! "Aloha! Surf's up at Outrigger Island: Living God's Unshakeable Truth. Kids will learn to know, speak, and live God's truth. Based on Psalm 86:11, (Teach me Your way, Lord, and I will live by Your truth.), this tropical adventure will help kids develop the stability they need to become unshakeable in a world of shifting sands." Our VBS will be June 9-13. The Associational VBS Clinic will be April 29, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Minden. All leaders and teachers are urged to be at this training event.

Orders for VBS T-Shirts are being taken right now. Deadline is Sunday, April 27. Information is available in the foyer. Turn in your order to the church office or to me.
