    "Bro. Roy's Remarks"

As I write this article it is Monday morning following an extremely busy and satisfying week. God has been so good and I offer to Him my sincere thanks and praise.

It started on a Saturday with the Easter Eggstravaganza. In spite of heavy rain the night before and during the morning we were to have the event, we had over a 100 people in attendance. The real message of Easter was shared and Christ was honored by our efforts. I personally want to thank everyone who made it happen. There is no way to share how much hard work and sacrifice it took to accomplish this event. A special thanks goes to Jeannine for heading things up. But, no one can do it alone and we don't even know everyone who helped and gave. We are extremely grateful for everyone and for all of your service to God.

Sunday morning we kicked off our Tent Revival. Many people have worked hard to make this revival happen. The work began weeks ago. Prayer, publicity, maintenance, nursery and food committees all did a wonderful job. Our youth helped with everything including putting out posters and raising the tent and moving chairs. Everybody did their jobs well and there were no real problems that developed. I am overwhelmed at the unity of spirit that was demonstrated by this revival. Max did an excellent job in planning the music and making sure that the sound equipment all worked. It was all great. Our music was wonderful. The preaching was bold, truthful, and powerful. I don't know how to express my thanks. I am sure that God knows everything and He will reward the faithful.

The best thing about the revival was the lives that were changed. We had 10 professions of faith and over 20 recorded rededications. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I am certain that God touched lives that we weren't even aware of and will never know until we stand before God at the Judgement Seat to receive our reward.

Let's remember that it is all about Him!
    Bro. Roy

There is a song that says, "Our God is amazing!" Indeed He is amazing! Praise the Lord for all He has done! Words cannot express the joy in my heart. As I think about the celebration of the Cross and Easter, I stand amazed at what Jesus did for us. How can I even begin to express my thoughts and gratitude for the sacrifice Jesus paid for me and for all who believe. As I think about the events of the past week, I stand in awe of a God who desires all to come to know Him and have a right relationship with Him. This week consisted of the Eggstravaganza, the Tent Revival, the Turkey Mission Trip, and Easter Sunday. The gospel was presented in many ways this week. Lives were touched and changed because of all the efforts made by so many people. I cannot begin to count the folks who made this week so special. A big thank you to all of you! I hesitate to mention any names for there is no way I can list all, but I do want to say a special thanks to some. Thanks to those who helped with the sound and video during the revival (and each week), especially to Steve Brown, Bill Young, and Daniel Hutto. Thanks to those who provided the music, Phillip Willis and all our special music guests, and especially to Jeri McCormick, Patty Hutto, and Corey Shadd on the keyboards during the revival and each Sunday. Thanks to the many others who helped in moving and setting up the sound equipment, the chairs, and the tent, especially William McCann, John McCann, and Jimmy Wilson. Thanks to those who helped with the counseling. Thanks to those who provided food, especially Barbara Wilson. Thanks to those who were involved in the Eggstravaganza, especially Jeannine Waites. Thanks to those who gave so that three of our young adults could go on the Mission to Turkey. I know I've left off many names, but thanks to all who have had a part in this great week of reaching out with the gospel of Jesus Christ!

    To God Be The Glory,
For The Things He Has Done!

Invite someone today to Sunday School and Worship!
