"Bro. Roy's Remarks"

As you read this article, Shane Waites and I will be in Brazil. We will be working with a church in "Engenheiro Caldas", which is about 30 minutes from "Governador Valadares". The pastor of the church is Andre Claudio.

I will be preaching at a revival in the church starting on Tuesday, July 12th. During the day we will be sharing the gospel at small house parties, where church members will invite their friends and neighbors for refreshments. We will be doing personal soul winning visitations as well.

It will take us 24 hours to arrive in Brazil from Shreveport and another 24 hours for the return trip. There will be two more days of travel by bus to and from "Governador Valadares".

It is an exciting time. We are praying for an anointing of the Holy Spirit that will result in a great harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God. We need your prayers. This is a new experience for both Shane and me. We are trusting in God's help and direction. God knows our needs, but He told us to ask. Therefore, our greatest need is for your prayers on our behalf. Pray for an open door of opportunity, pray for an open mouth to share clearly and boldly the gospel, pray for an anointing of the Spirit of God to reap a harvest of souls.

Dwight Wesson will be preaching while I am gone. I will see you Sunday, July 24th, filled with excitement and with a testimony of what God has done.

Pray for Brother Roy and Shane as they are in Brazil with 200 others from across our state. They are sharing Jesus in homes, on the street, and preaching a Revival. Praise the Lord!

"Summer Son Shine Kids"

The children and preschoolers are meeting from 6:30 till 8:00 p.m. each Wednesday. Our musical will be presented Sunday evening, August 21. Come join us as we celebrate summer by singing about God's promises!
