I praise God for the good things happening in our church. We had some great services Sunday and there is a real spirit of unity in our church.

I believe we are ready for God to do a great work in our church. I am truly expecting a great revival. We have two outstanding men to lead us.

Bailey Smith

Bailey Smith will be preaching each service. He heads an evangelistic organization committed to preaching the Bible as God's infallible, inerrant Word. He does not compromise on the Gospel of Jesus; preaching Jesus as the only way of salvation (John 14:6).

The national media has described Bailey Smith as:

At age 34, he became pastor of the second largest church in the denomination. He became the youngest man ever to serve as president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Bailey Smith is the only man in Convention history to baptize 2,000 people in a local church in one year.

He is the only man of any denomination to leave a 20,000 member church to enter evangelism.

He is a best selling author with several books to his credit.

Price Harris

Price Harris will be leading the music during this revival. Price has served many years in full time music evangelism. He averages over 30 revivals a year plus numerous concerts and conferences. He is recognized as one of the outstanding music evangelist in the Southern Baptist Convention.

I encourage you to make your plans to attend. It should be a priority time for us all.

Please pray for an extra ordinary outpouring of God's Spirit that will result in real revival, Kingdom growth and the salvation of lost souls.

NEEDED REVIVAL CHOIR

Price Harris says, "We would love to have you join the Revival Choir. Older teens and adults are best for Revival Choir." We will meet Sunday at 5:15 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. Will you come join us?

I am excited about our Fall Revival with Bailey Smith and Price Harris. I have heard Bailey Smith preach at a convention! He is an excellent communicator of the gospel. Many of you already know Price Harris. He is a wonderful friend and music evangelist. It will be a joy to have these two men with us for our Fall Revival.

One of my favorite verses about revival is:
"Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19 NASB
We must repent and return. Then we will be refreshed. I am praying for a wonderful time of refreshing! Are you praying?

Christmas season will be here before we turn around. I want to invite you to a special time of Christmas celebration. Each year our Choirs work very hard to present wonderful presentations that celebrate the birth of our Savior. Each year I look around at the crowd and wish more folks would take the time out of the busy holiday schedule to worship Jesus with us. Will you place these two Sunday night worship celebrations on your calendar today? You will be blessed as we all worship together!
